I think the new ending is good. The distorted victory jingle gives me the vibe that you have escaped for now, but it's not over yet. The only thing is that you don't touch a flagpole in the OG game, but that just feels like a little nitpick.

this is pretty good, i think its close but i definitely prefer this over the og in terms of just the raw quality alone. really wish the ending was about the same though tbh, it fit well with the theme of the song. maybe you could have done something like have the pipe entrance happen, but have an extra quicker bit near the end as there's a second area (like in the april fools update) before finally the death happens at the end. this is all just my wishful thinking though, maybe i'll fuck with the flp a bit and make a concept for it myself lol

while I'm kinda disappointed it didn't have the same ending that the og had, cuz it fitting with the original April Fools's ending, the new instrumental is pretty good, and the pipe sound effect in the middle bit is a nice addition 👍✨ I'd say this is definitely on par with V1, not worse, but not necessarily "better" both are good

This is amazing but uh, there is one thing I must say about this. *_i find this more of a sidegrade than upgrade. Both version are amazing but one couldn't top off the other hence the term sidegrade instead of upgrade/downgrade. Both are amazing and unique in their own way (especially the ending), tho this might sound a little bit of bias but I find the old one better, but regardless this is amazing in its own way_*

In a weird sort of way, I see this as well. I find there is no depths to the vocals unlike in the first one. It reminds me more of the first iteration of the DOOM Eternal soundtrack if that makes any sense. I think someone described that as "Loud as a gun, but as deep as a puddle". The funny thing is towards end they realize this and fix it for the most part turning this song absolutely inside out. The background theme and the vocals shift octaves. (Around 1:00 compared to 2:40).
