In part because it doesn't use the same structures as MS AD (on-prem) - I suspect that was tripping some people up. Different "thing", different name. Also because they want to highlight the fact that it can be used as a general authentication solution - not just something to access MS services.

Your course was a huge help, Adam. But I was caught a bit off-guard when I took the AZ-900. None of the KZbin courses I watched, or the book I read, adequately prepared me for the level of detail they wanted in some areas. This episode is one that I think needs more technical detail. To other viewers, you definitely need to supplement your learning with a detailed review of Microsoft's Azure AD documentation and also Adam's additional Azure AD videos.

@@fisherlatham8776 Probably outdated by now but IIRC Azure AD and networking were covered more than what was in Adam's videos. They also surprisingly asked about some obsolete topics that had been removed from the checklist or even removed/replaced/renamed from Azure. I wouldn't have known these without having studied older material and old practice tests. When I saw some of those on the practice tests, I thought nah, that's old, they won't ask about it. I was glad later that I researched those topics anyway.

Single sign-on (in short SSO) is an authentication process where multiple systems/services (usually independent services) allow users to sign-on to them using the same username/password (credentials). Azure AD is perfect example of SSO system where users can sign in to Portal Azure using the same account as to SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure SQL, etc. etc.

Cheat sheet talks about identity management features, not what identity is. Check 1:09 to see what identity is. Group is a collection of identities not an identity itself. But it is used for identity management.
