Can we take a moment to appreciate the plot of the whole song, it's so well thought off and executed. I'm surprised I find no comments which refer to the time period which is referenced, 1964. The letter he receives at the end, one year later, which says "Hope, all is fine" and right then alarms starts blaring and all lights are shut off which just might signify approaching aerial attacks during 1965 Indo-Pak war. The thought process is just amazing !!

Whenever I hear this song I can feel this situation. I saw her after 2.5 years in opposite side of road on 5th dec, 2022 at exact 2:55pm.... I feel my eyes are being wet slowly, I kept the tears hidden & just looking at her. My heartbeat was much higher than normal, my chest was throbbing, I was sweating profusely, I felt like my blood pressure was rising. Ufff!! This feeling mannnn I can't explain... One of the best feeling for me... Every night, every time whenever I see her photo, I see her with another boy, I just close my eyes, kept tears hidden, I smile and think that I have lost one of the most important person/thing in my life for my own mistake and it hurts the most. I know now it's already too late to understand that It was totally my fault.. I will regret it for the rest of my life & I have to accept it.. She was not my 1st or 2nd option, she was my one and only option for me. I realized her value after losing her.. But thank God for giving her in my life, I couldn't understand her value that's my fault & thanks to her for changing me indirectly even after break up. I know now I am waiting for her and may be that isn't never going to happen but still I will love her & remember her for the rest of my life that's my promise to myself. It's almost 3 years still I can't move on from this, may be I don't wanna move on from her🙂.... One sided love is really unconditional. No explanation, nothing in return just pure love. Yessss!! It hurts, no doubt. But nothing can be as beautiful as this feeling..
