On Tuesday evening, Azad Gallery held two solo shows of plastic arts at Villa Azad @villaazadartgallery in Zamalek, combining the works of artists Souad Mardam Bey @souadmardambey and Mohamed Radwan @m_radwan_70 to create two different creative experiences.
In the “قَصقِص وَرق” fair, artist Souad Mardam Bey shows vivid paintings that express her dreamy fantasies, inspired by the words of the song “قَصقِص وَرق” which Fairouz sung in 1972 written and composed by the Rahbani Brothers. These paintings alternate between symbols and obvious meanings, with each detail telling its own tale.
About the “بنات أفكاري” exhibition, the artist Mohamed Radwan features sculptures of both human and animal shapes. His work also uses various materials such as wood, stones, and metal, blending reduction and fluidity while expressing a distinct interaction with the area around it.
Several famous creative figures and art aficionados from Egypt and the Arab globe attended the inauguration.
