investing in foreign currency is risky too, one needs to count for various factors . . Like if global recession starts and Pakistan get's first IMF tranche and help from few brotherly nations so dollar will eventually come down. The time to invest or convert savings of PKR into dollars was in march and selling it in mid july. Now dollar is eventually coming down and as I said with IMF tranche and ease down in our CAD, dollar will decrease a little further too. Yes if one is willing to invest in dollars for long term then this volatility factor can be ignored because eventually our economic fundamentals aren't correct, after 2-3 years we can again witness boom bust cycle with BOP crises so dollar will rise again.
