Great video I picked up the Armory Deck (Not a Hero I Play often) Was thinking what some good upgrade options would be.

In a deck that focuses on aim counters, it's almost criminal to not mention Judge, Jury, Executioner, especially with how it interacts with Seek and Destroy. JJE has the Legendary keyword, so you can run only one, and costs about $4. You'll also want 3x Dead Eye, a $5.50-$6ish majestic. Dead Eye gives +3 and discard on hit. You can stack hit triggers with JJE so that JJE resolves first, forcing the opponent to discard all but one card, then Dead Eye discards the one that JJE left behind. Discard on hit is also a very powerful on hit. Lace with Frailty & Yellow Read the Glide Path can be taken out for Dead Eye & JJE

Side note, JJE is her card from Heavy Hitters (HVY249) & Longdraw Halfglove is Mysteria (MST232). I wasn't sure what set it was from myself, so I looked at the set code while it was still on-screen and chuckled a bit. I used to do content creation for a miniatures game, so I know and very well understand how easy it is to miss some of the simple stuff, even if it's right in front of you. I'm enjoying your content greatly!

@canadianized Thanks so much for the insight and kind words! I was going to add JJE, but as you can tell, as we upgrade the deck, I'm moving away from that Aim counter mechanic as a core factor of the deck. I've also seen some Azalea discussion on JJE and it seems even decks that are trying Sandscour aren't even playing it due to variance/power and there being better cards to put in instead. I imagine its a mileage may vary situation though

I’m still waiting for its delivery, but I feel like this armory deck is very inconsistent. I hope upgrades would let me go to some local casual armory events.

@spetz911 Some pro players at my armory say its very well designed and plays great at armory level. Luckily a small upgrade definitely bumps up its power

@user-ri7ts4gh2w I believe Azalea is still pretty far off from becoming a Living Legend at this moment. But even still, I'd say its a great pickup because you can play her in the LL format or use the cards to play a different ranger since alot of the cards in the deck are staple ranger cards
