Azalea is extremely sensitive, delicate and temperature specific plant but quite expensive. I doesn't survive in North India where temperatures reach up to 46+ degree Celsius (115 Degree Fahrenheit). Even if we store it in shade it is very difficult to protect. I have many Azalea Plants and 2 Azaleas are in almost dying conditions though temperature has just reached 40 degrees as yet and I kept them under shade initially but when still they still seemed to be dying I re-potted them and have moved them indoors since. Can anybody with experience in these plants help? Same applies for my Geranium Plants (not yet but sooner or later the same problem occurs with rising temperature, each year).

You can use fertilizers and time them to flower during other season other than during the summers..and do not prune during the summers but do it post monsoons..I'm from Darjeeling but I grow them in siliguri too where the temperature hits 40+ during the summers..and if you live in a hot place do mulch over the plant when the summer starts

Looks like very expensive soil blend. Western world does not give value to trees plants and soil. Tibetan soil I read is very fertile. Where they cultivate the goji berries and they have patented the cultivation process. Blessings

You didn't mention where you tried it (climate & temperature)..use a well drained soil, some sand and less garden soil & don't overwater...if you are in a hot place do mulching..
