Wow, those azaleas are amazing. Thank you for sharing your adventure. Brings back fantastic memories of my trip there last summer, but it was much hotter then and we stopped off at the cafe as well for drinks and ice creams. Cheri is definitely enjoying time with Grandma as well.

I would pass on turtles as they are smelly, carry several diseases that affect humans, and they would have a field day munching on plants in your garden. How about a lily and a mini solar fountain for your pond instead?

Flowers such as daffodil, azalea, bird of paradise, shasta daisy, rhododendron, lily of the valley, lily of the nile, and buttercups are also severely toxic to box turtles. Tomatoes plants also are bad for them. They make a mess. Our park has so many of them and the city empties the ponds for cleanning the bottom.

Thank you earlier for taking so long. This was exquisite the way you respond and react when you see beautiful flowers and shrubs is exactly how I respond. I just saw myself and you all over again. It’s like being in heaven isn’t it? Azaleas are beautiful. it is the Rhododendrum season here too in Vancouver and we go to Stanley Park to walk through the Rhododendrum garden exquisite. You can actually walk through the flowers are hanging from above you below you everywhere you walk all colours of the rainbows magnificent such beauty all around us. It makes me happy to see that you really love nature and appreciated’s beauty. I got a chuckle when I saw your mom touching the tree, and you said, “tree therapy”. 😊 I do the same thing. I live in a city surrounded by water and mountains and vegetation everywhere and flowers everywhere there is not one street that is not filled with flowers on the ground and on the trees, and on the shrubs. April and May is a magnificent time to go out and be with nature it’s one of the best times to visit Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We don’t get a lot of sun, but when we do, it’s heavenly it’s a temperate climate, slightly warmer than England and slightly less rain, but we do get a lot of rain. I’m glad your mom is enjoying herself and you all are accomplished a lot as a team. But I do say the best part of this beautiful video was the ending sequence of your sweet dog with her head on the table sitting on your mom‘s lap and her eyes closing so relaxed and peaceful. It’s nice to capture and have as a memory. Lots of love enjoy each other.💝💐🥂🍾😄

Turtles need space & should not be confined to a small space, even that one shown has too many in such a small area. Too easy for disease to occur. Please rethink before confining a wild species. Lovely tour, thank you.

Hi from Oklahoma, USA! Thanks for taking us to Villa Carlotta again! I visited there 22 years ago in October so it’s lovely to see the azaleas blooming in the Spring. That really is a stunning garden and beautiful house too! I’ve enjoyed your adventures with your mom. As someone else mentioned, my mom passed many years ago, so it’s wonderful to “share” adventures with you. The roses you bought are going to be lovely!

Turtles are hard to train 😂! You can tell them “NO” all day to not eat your flowers, and they just look 👀 up at you and munch away. There is a good reason why Villa Carlotta keeps their turtles enclosed. Maybe it would be easier to train a bumblebee 🐝. At least it would be good for your garden! 🤣 We know you are good at training animals because Sweet Cherie can put her sleepy nose right next to lovely charcuterie and not take one small bite! 😎 Send love ❤️ to your mama.
