The voices in the beginning, the kids yelling and generally having fun, those voices drown the sadness in me. The picture, it shows a man walking alone, trying to show me that whatever I do, I have to do it alone: walk every mile, climb every mountain, dive into the deepest waters all alone. Yes, there will be people along the way, but just temporarily, to help us or to get help from us. Once they don't need us anymore or they see that they helped us to keep on going, they will leave again. Just like those kids, they needed someone to help them understand this world, now they walk it alone...

As i sit by my room window, watching kids play together in the court yard. i ask myself why, why aren't i out there playing with them. I remember once my father, the very one who left us had told me you need no one but yourself. i was a kid then and didnt think much of it. now i am older and i finally know what those words mean. i dont have to be like anyone else. i just need me, myself and i. i dont need to rely on anyone. but why is it so painful to see others getting along with each other while i sit in my personal prison. the one they call a "room" as i think to myself i fear there will be a time that i will be released from this cage. an endeavor to be freed. I dream many things as i sit in this prison. but the one that seems to repeat is me walking in the rain with my umbrella over head. i dont know where im going but the land seems red, like fire. no like a splash of red paint had taken over lost territory and it is screaming to be noticed. its a peaceful yet frightening place and even though i want to turn back. i keep going forward showing my back to past and facing forward to the future.
