Glad you're still around Mrs Azam Ali (since the good old MySpace days). I still have those 5 or 6 CD's around that I bought many years ago. But I could never have predicted you would pick up on Nietzsche ;-) Yet, it seems evident. When I think of the old world, when there were two big empires, Rome and the Persians, the world was already one big drama going on - something Nietzsche understood all too well, and also the implications when people would give up the grand stories that gave some walled shape to their lives.

Love you Azam. As someone who listens mainly to crazy, hard, dark music, I'm so glad that I've discovered you and Niyaz. Your music is beautiful, inspirational, and calming. My soul needs your music.

I remember when I met you and Loga in Birmingham, Alabama. I was the last one in line and you both were so kind and loving. I think I tried to speak Persian but I was too nervous! I'll never forget it! Your music has been with me for a long time. Thank you for everything.

Sadly, when we box ourselves into a belief system, we can lose sight of what true sacrifice was and is. And we have to keep in mind that while religion is born of sacrifice, it most likely would be lost on the saints who inspire those beliefs as practiced in a modern age. I have no problem with tradition that helps us remember and appreciate. But we must carry the torch for the original sacrifice and not change its meaning for the modern age. This music is like a prayer and solemn reminder that loss stems from love, or what else is there. A beautifully crafted remembrance here of the light that shall ultimately inspire us all... 🌹🙏

Bóg to ktoś bliski.

I wish I understood the words. How are you mixing Nietzsche and Christianity? I am not offended, I am questioning. As a Christian, I try to listen to music that is not countering Christianity. As far as I know Nietzsche was against anything Christian. Have you found a way that supports Christianity, or is this countering it?
@mariemichelgouar70845 ай бұрын
Azam Ali, thanks to a daring reversal, manages to extract what is best from Nietzsche's work to make it a springboard towards the divine.

Amor fati was not originally coined by Nietzche, allthough many know the phrase via him.
