It's noted that Azamara's Off Shore experience is not great currently due to their website/booking experience but they make up for it on the On board experience. Also if you can't hear the announcements in your room some times they will broadcast them on the Ships Navigational channel on the TV. This is what we had to do on a recent cruise of ours.

I’m going on a greece cruise this year on Azamara. I’m not a cruiser and I chose them due to the itinerary and the all-inclusive nature of the offering. I don’t like being nickled and dimed. I was thrilled to hear about his good the food is. I’m feeling overwhelmed trying to figure out what to do in each port. I loved hearing about the variety of things you did. How did you figure it out?

You can hear the captain’s announcements on the TV, on the ship information channel. No need to open the door. :)

how was the booking process? Is was easy because you did it LOL, your mom is so cool and funny, for real, thats a great response, this is what i find about travel, booking everything and getting flights and dates to match is so stressful sometimes, it would be so much easier if someone else did it all

The cabin staff are usually fun of helpful information - more so than the guest services! As them whatever you need to know.

Hello, thank you for your entertaining and thorough experience on Azamara Quest. We will be traveling on the Venice to Venice 9 day cruise in Oct. Is there anything you would have planned ahead of time, ie. excursions, dining? Would that be advantageous for us to start planning? Thanks for your honest assessment.

I hope you see this comment in the coming days. 😮 I leave for my first cruise on Azamara out of Athens in 5 days. I cannot seem to find where or when I am provided with the port terminal number. My travel agent said I’d get an email (I don’t think that’s accurate). Azamara says I just need to check the port schedule online which is not helpful at all (I don’t understand what I’m looking at on the Athens port website). Could you let me know how and when you were provided that info for your cruise? Thank you!

My sister and I will be on the Quest next April doing Croatia in a veranda cabin. We just booked it today through a travel agent. It’s our first Azamara cruise. We usually use a different cruise line but Azamara had the best itinerary for Croatia. It’s very disappointing to hear about the entertainment at night. Also, I get it’s a smaller ship but those bathrooms look soooo small. Yikes. The ship looks outdated but as long as it’s clean I’m okay with that. I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed the food. We, too, have the internet pkg. It’s disappointing to hear that it’s terrible. We love to post daily about our experiences but it doesn’t sound like that is going to happen.

We have been on Azamara 14 times and you don't go Azamara for the shows you just go to the shows if you see something you think you like but there is no production shows at all

I'm a theatre nerd and have really enjoyed the entertainment on other lines, so just really hoped that would be a part of this experience!

I'm really surprised by "much better than Disney" on food. I'm not even sure how that would be possible outside an ultra luxury line like Regent, Seabourn or Silversea. For me, it's Celebrity, Disney, Carnival, Princess. With Celebrity and Disney way ahead of Carnival and Princess. Worth noting that I've been on only one Carnival vessel, and it was one of their best at the time (Carnival Magic) with a head chef who LOVED his job and it showed in the food we received, esp in the Italian restaurant.

Thinking that you will get west end style production shows on Azamara is frankly mind numbing ….its about a more intense immersive experience…you have shown a little bit of what folk would imagine an American attitude to be to style …maybe burgers on Disney is where it’s at
