Buy what one can afford once you start making money can step up to something newer . I will be looking for a 2015 with about 400,000 to 500,000 on it for about 20,000 to 30,000 I don't care about the name as long as it reliable what I can afford with a decent down payment

You better have a good amount of repair cost contingency funds saved up. Chances are, all the reliability has been diminished in a high mileage used truck with you being left to pay for the reliability needed for you to maintain your investment. In saying that, you could very well be paying the amount you paid cash for a high mileage used truck in a year, a couple years after depleting what reliability was left! Economically, does that make sense or cents ? A truck with a warranty gives you a far better chance at succeeding. It just will take you longer to really reel it in, but ... do what you feel is best for you. I’ve been on the auction bought side of used high mileage trucks for 6 years. If you don’t have 5-7 trucks to stand in the gap of non producing trucks amongst them, it’s not a good move, no matter if you pay 50K for a lower mileage used truck.

Pre 2007 Signatures,were the only Cummins one of my old bosses would touch,would not even look at the now X15,which I've driven two of,both set at 620hp and 2400ft torque,and oh boy I was impressed,but I'll always swear by the CAT C15,or the 425 ATTAC.

At least ya got a Volvo with the Cummins, they pull better for some reason. Drove a Volvo with the ugly green goblin under the hood, with a 10 speed. And one with the Cummins and a 10 speed. The Cummins performed better. Idk what with Cummins, but around half a million miles. They tend to want to overheat easier. Hopefully you haven't experienced that problem.

Going back thru your old videos, you have come a long way in just over 2 years. Sooo, how is the DPF holding up since you cleaned it. Have you had and breakdowns or flat tires in 2.5 years? I watch a lot of your videos but you don’t mention breakdowns/flat tires or the dreaded DOT inspection. I’m a little curious how the DOT treats O/O’s since I’ve only been a company driver when I got inspected? Volvo is probably the worst truck for new owner op. Every single person I know that owns one has nothing than problems. Very comfortable and nice trucks but reliability especially with electronics isn’t there.
