10/10 Review, top job mate.. Just one thing though and I say this from experience, all is fantastic when NEW out of box... It's GREAT isn't it, wonderful. I ask anyone out there that is using this cam, to re up load in 12 months time and tell us if the cam still works fine. Feel free to check my reviews, you'll understand what I mean. Again, great review mate, I'll look into this cam. :)

Is there a way to connect the camera and still use Apple car play ? Mi Wi-Fi bounces between the camera and the Apple CarPlay Wi-Fi I’m not sure if I can keep it at both

Good question. Here’s what AZDome has to say on the matter: “AZDOME M550 dash cam will support Class 10, U3 Speed 128 GB micro SD card. Max Support: 128GB (The latest version of the M550 package only has a 64GB SD card as a gift). A few of our customers have used 256GB card, in theory, it supports up to 512GB. However, we don't recommend it, as the larger the memory in the market, it is easier to buy substandard memory cards.”

I bought one but it just turns on and off, it turned on once and I honestly just thought it was dead. But I left it charging for an hour and it started to turn off and on again so I’m not sure what I can do to fix that.

⁠@@keoni6738 generally speaking you would use a hardwire kit only when you need it to record for motion when the car is parked, I’m not sure the hardwire would fix this problem , have you tried to plug it in a different power source ? (Different cigarette lighter hole or different cigarette usb plug, plugged in via wall outlet if it’s just a regular usb) or maybe try reaching out to azdome directly

You can connect it to your phone, that’s really the only WiFi capabilities it has. It’s useful for playback or making settings changes. You will not be able to set up some sort of automatic backup to cloud storage.

I already have it but it doesn't delete the old video I have to format the SD card each time it gets full

Have you looked through all the settings? Do you have a laptop ? If you've looked through all the settings, and there is nothing to delete individual videos, you may want to plug it into your laptop, take the files you want from it, and then reformat it and either reintroduce the videos or keep them off the cam.

They do have an optional power kit that connects via the OBD-II port. That would allow the camera to record events triggered by vibration. But 24/7 recording isn’t possible.

No. You have to be close enough to the camera to connect to its internal WiFi network; and then you can playback recordings. There is no live view. If that’s something you’re looking for, Ring and Owl do that.

Ultimately you’re the best judge, but the compact design and great video quality would make this a solid contender for any car, whether it be something smaller like a Mini Cooper or a big truck like an F-150, in my opinion.

Hello! While searching data about camera I came across an interesting detail in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHzGZqOrnbiIZq8 The device accepts up to a 256Gb memory card. Verified also by you. However, on cards larger than 64Gb, the device uses only 64Gb! of space, regardless of the size and equipment of the device. Can you confirm the observation?
