Almost a year late coming in on this one, I have the PG16 version, much the same. Not sure if that's a setting on the PG 17, but mine does show the speed at the bottom left, and also can set the screen to stay on at all times, which I use as my rear view mirror in my van, doesn't time out and shut off.

Great value product and appears well made. Although not installed yet, the camera quality looks great for the price. I paid $79 AUD (about $52USD). Amazing value!

I just got a car that had the camera already installed, however i don't see an on/off button, i will have to follow the wiring to see if anything is disconnected, let me know if I am missing something thanks...

Hello, thanks for the info. Yours look really clear, I just installed one and it seems really dark for the rear, and yes, I did remove the film over the cam and the back up lines are awfully out of whack, they can not be adjusted. So it is quite useless as is. right now. I may try to tweak the cam but it looks right. You can't test that since you did not do the full install. I like what does work so far though, thx again.

Hello. I was wondering if this camera can be hardwired and if so, does it require professional installation or can it be installed by the car owner? Also, what to do if your car does not have a cigarette lighter? Also, what do you recommend for cameras that monitor each side of your car (Example, when car is parked and you want to capture anyone trying to deface or enter your car, or if you substain a side impact from another car).

Night time I find the rear view hard to drive. Headlight glare is very distracting. Can you adjust the brightness on tgd rearview screen. Still want to see traffic behind me. Thanks 👍

Hello! For some reason, my AZDome PG17 Rear view camera image is Flipped(left/right)| Laterally inverted | How do I reverse the mirror image of the car camera, so that when i look in the mirror, the car behind me in the right lane, shows in the mirror on the right, instead of in the left?

Great video. One question I do have. With the split screen video of front and rear can you swap the views? Say front on the left side/rear on the right verses Rear on the left/Front on the right?

Is there a way to save your data in a cloud with an account? As far as i know, this kind of cameras need an app to access your data and we can only access the data by connecting to the "camera's wifi" first or through the micro SD, so what happen if someone stole your camera or the microSD?

I have the same A z dome PG17. And when I use the 1 3 or 5 m The mirror just goes blank and I do not get The mirror Reflection at all. Why is that? It's just completely blacked out. Could there be something wrong with this particular Purchase?

Just a question. When you turn on the car, does the mirror remember what camera view you had selected previously or do you have to swipe through them every time? Looking for something permanent, hands free and that I don't have to touch unless I need to. Thanks

For anyone still curious yes it does stay on the reverse camera. Just set urbto start on the reverse cam and it's there every rune it starts up

It overlays your coordinates onto the recording if you want it. If not, the setting can be turned off.
