For those who says why none-persians celebrate this ceremony: Look, let them celebrate Nowruz, I'm Persian/Iranian, at the end if it wasn't for Russia war and France betraying us Azerbaijan was still part of Iran, and in Iran not everyone are persian but everyone do celebrate Nowruz, it's like saying why countries celebrate Christmas, Nowruz has been and is and will be a ceremony which makes middle eastern people closer, heck one of its very goals has been this, so you should be proud that it is being celebrated rather than being unhappy, let's all celebrate this beautiful and wonderful ceremony By the way as long as I know it's called persian new year, Iranian(the land of aryans) new year, Nowruz... As now we are very close to Nowruz, happy new year everyone

@jimbobimbo32663 жыл бұрын
its not just Persian festival, however in west Iran was referred as Persia/Persian empire. other ethnic groups celebrate Nowruz as well (Kurds for example). many parts of Caucasus like Dagestan, Aran, Shirval, ... has been part of Iran for many years. Nowruz is an ancient tradition and is related to Arian culture, Zoroastrian, Persian empire... Iran is not pure Arian country, but historically Arian migrated to different regions and spread their culture, religion and most importantly they were the first who came up with the Idea of making a country called Iran.

Azeris are Iranic people who originated from Iran according to history, genetically, historians and scientists . Their language got Turkified by Turkic colonization. Today some people in Azerbaijan believe they are “Turk” because of their pan Turk government even though they are not. Azeri people in Iran on other hand are aware of their Iranian heritage from registered history books and education. Long story short they are Iranic people it’s normal that they celebrate Nowrooz.
