Cleopatra features an ethnic sound with 3 traditional Azerbaijani instruments; an oud (a traditional guitar-like string instrument), a balaban (a wind instrument) and a tar (a string instrument added to the UNESCO's List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity). The music video for Cleopatra was filmed in Azerbaijan at the Gobustan State Historical and Cultural Reserve. And Finally Nam is a Sanskrit word, derived from “namas” which is taken to express devotion. It’s the same root of the more familiar “namaste”, or “I bow to the divinity within you”. Myoho - translates roughly to “Wonderful Law”, “Mystic Law”, or the karmic law of cause and effect, which is considered by Buddhists to be the ultimate law of the universe. Renge - translates to “lotus”. The lotus flower seeds and blooms at the same time, representing the simultaneity of cause and effect - once a person has made a cause, the effect has already taken place (but might not manifest until later). The lotus flower also blooms in a swampy waters, representing the potential for any person to attain enlightenment in the “swamp” of human suffering. Kyo - translates to “sutra”, “teaching”, or “the voice of the Buddha”. Spoken together, these words connect the chanter with the karmic law of the universe. The chant itself is said to be the most positive cause you can make, bringing about hugely positive effects in your life.

Azerbaijan killed me - DONE ....at the first listen i though its boring a little bit, but after more listenings i love this song, especially the cultural vibes (sound soo azerbaijanic/turkish/arabic/egyptian for me). Azerbaijan always have a great songs. I wasnt a fan of 2018 or 2011 they were the weakiest songs according to me, good luck ❣

I am so happy and proud for our good neighbor's entry! Great job Azerbaijan! I normally don't listen to this kind of music, but I do appreciate the artist, who is very beautiful and is very authentic! Considering this year's trend, that so many contestant girls are kind of resembling stars (I saw Beyonce wannabe, Billie Eilish wannabe, a bit of Gaga Wannabe, Ketty Perry etc), her personality in this song and performance is so awarding! I will be rooting for her for sure. Of course, I would love my country to win, but other than that, I will be really happy to see my neighbors as winners as well :) (i mean, nice neighbors, not Russia though :D)

Israel are Azerbaijan are the most creative in my opinion. We just need to see what happens on stage and the choreography as well. Israel is only 19 th in the odds but it could change . Eden Alene said in an interview that there would be a few changes to the song to bring out her voice and to the staging as well. Good luck to Efendi as well
