There were so many micro shots of details it's impossible to see what the interior looks like as a whole. I agree, great renovation but I would've liked to see more of the end result.

Wow!! These tiny trailer projects you do..just Wow!!! That back storage compartment on bumper, fantastic!!! I knew a guy who him and his wife restored old cars, a lot of them, he turned into hot rods...they took them right down to the frame, sand blasted, powder coated, his wife's specialty was completely restoring the radiators!!!!😲 He gave me a ride in the class C he built from an old ambulance..man that thing had 💥Power💥‼️ they never had kids but they had stacks of photo albums of all the cars they rebuilt, those were referred to as "The Babies"! He also souped up a v6 4x4 and it would beat all the v8s!!!! That thing chirped!!!!

Awesome video James. Bit of a departure for you. This has to be a labor of love because with all the effort, materials and fabrication involved there could be little room for profit.

It was a very expensive restoration just in parts as so much was added. But it was not a money maker by any means. We had so much fun doing this!

Looks great. The only change I would make is a custom A/C cover for the roof. Fabricate something out of aluminum that mirrors the shape of the Bambi.
@AZExpert4 жыл бұрын
I also do not like the look of roof A/C's on vintage trailers, but that's why we chose the very low profile one and painted it to match as black or white would have looked awful. Thanks!

i am restoring a 1961 safari currently...i have 2 questions...how did you attach the aluminum water tank to the bumper and how did you attach the spare tire to the back?
@AZExpert4 жыл бұрын
We welded tabs to the bumper to match the mounts on the tank and then bolted it on. When we replaced the rear wall skin, we riveted a spare tire mount to the frame and floor to carry the weight. Thanks and good luck! This video might explain it better at least with the views. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKrXiZeii5eMpqc
@lesterthomas32344 жыл бұрын
would it be possible to get the part number or manufacture of the spare tire mount you used so i can get a better idea how you did that...great idea. gonna use it.
