nono it's educational dvds to teach men how to do taxes and fix the plumbing. Nothing suspicious at all.
@PhoenixClank7 күн бұрын
Not sure if it works in English as well but in German "to do some plumbing" is a sexual innuendo. (Though I guess for that activity you wouldn't need DVDs but rather some other supplies, and I couldn't gather from the video whether that store sells those. It seems to focus more on the single-player experience.)
@roaming_data7 күн бұрын
@@PhoenixClankHello! I am pleased to tell you that that same joke more or less DOES work in English! To say “laying pipe” is a sexual innuendo, and in the same vein though not as used things like “cleaned her gutters” or “Cleaned her pipes.” Also work.
@PhoenixClank7 күн бұрын
@@roaming_data Thanks! Yeah, the German innuendo is also more like "laying pipes" ("Rohre verlegen") than "doing plumbing" (which would be "klempnern", I guess). Haven't heard anyone use the equivalent of "cleaning her gutters/pipe" ("ihren Abfluss/ihre Röhre reinigen"?) here, they don't sound like a double entendre to me, just literal plumbing work.
