You inspired me to play Fire Mage and i have been doing everything i can to learn. However there is 1 thing stopping me and that is the DMG. I cant afford the original WoW so i play on a private server and the seasons there are really strange. Tyrannical is the strongest set there and the Fire mage dmg is really low (I crit 60k with pyro + trinket and LB) I can make a combo of 200 k but after i use all my cds i dont know what to do :(. But i really like seeing you play you are awesome.

Tyrannical is an older set i think season 14 i believe when the Ilvl was 496, so that explains your low Pyros

yeah i know and because of these low dmg pyros i cant do anything at all because fire mage is all about bursting while they are frozen and how can i burst with 200k dmg with all my CD's while they have 400k hp.

Hansol how do you feel about Destro MLD with Fire Mage ? I get told that for Fire mages God comp with Rsham Is better for fire mage but idk hex / sheep share dr and that MLD is better for Fire Mages

I play shadow priest + frost mage on my Resto Druid. Could you tell me what YOU think is importiant that a Rdruid is doing correctly on this comp? And what you like about the druids you've been playing with? Would help me a lot :)

I like to play with druids that know how to play offensive. A druid that really knows how to help us chain CC with bash and clones. I hate playing with druids that aren't willing to spec out of disorient into bash because disorient roar DRs with DB. Overall, it's just really important to have a druid that knows when to go offensive. Overall, using clones to max potential is especially very important in this comp other than actually keeping us alive and communicating.

Kind of off topic Fire question for Hansol: Why don't you ever incorporate frostfire bolt into your fights, rather than hardcasting a pyroblast or fireball? (ya know after a frostjaw or dragons breath or sheep)

Patrick S. Actually, it does give hot streak procs but it's just too much of a long cast and it does just as much damage as fireball anyway. The slow is not worth the long cast and taking the risk of getting locked out and not doing anything. I'd rather insta slow with CoC.

Hansol mmh ok, nice to know with the hotstreak proc, I only played like a month fire, than I did 3s with some friends and they said, u go frost or we will find another mage, they meant it in a good way xD atleast we are now 2.4k rated xD idk if I could do that with fire tho yeah the lock out of frost school can be more than deadly :D

Ehhh its definitely a better choice for that random opener Hansol ;). The only reason i said off-topic is because i dont really ever see this situation coming up in arena. I personally enjoy using a lot of fireballs but, as soon as i discovered frostfire bolt gives hot streaks, using a mix of the two has definitely been beneficial.

warlord07333 If your casting a lot of fireballs in pvp you need to change your playstyle up a bit ma man. An opener should be sheep or db.

Hey Hansol great video. Have you tried going mastery before? I have 42% unbuffed (still missing 2 pieces) so if I do a 100k pyro it deals another 42k in 4s which is pretty ridiculous. If I have mastery buff + Mage Armor I'm at 57% mastery which is even better. Since you always burst someone in a deep you're going to crit anyways and the crit is wasted. But maybe you think the burst is enough without mastery... Would love to hear your opinion on it, or even see you try it.

I haven't really tried it, but I prefer haste for faster cast times and globals overall anyway. Otherwise the gameplay feels to sluggish and slow.

Hansol Agree I have more than 20% haste aswell, but mastery feels really powerful. I just reforged everything out of crit and never use scorch, because i hate scorch anyways.

It would be cool if blizz adds in WoD, 1 more glyph slot "primal" that provokes different spec playstyles, here's some of my ideas: [Glyph of frostfire] (Fire only, Primal glyph) gains Shatter passive. decreases cd of frost nova by 10s. decreases cd of ice ward/frostjaw/ring of frost by 5s duration of frost nova decreased to 6s. replaces blast wave with coldfire wave: 2 charges, freezes the target for 4s, followed by 2s 60% slow.Replaces frost nova. 25s cd. [Glyph of hellfire] (Fire only, Primal glyph) increases fire spell crit chance by 10%. reduces the cd of inferno blast to 6s. increases critical damage of pyroblast by 50%. reduces cd of combustion by 10s. [Glyph of casting] (Any spec, Primal glyph) reduces cd of blink by 3s. reduces cast time of frostbolt,frostfire bolt,fireball,pyroblast,arcane blast by 0.5s. increases damage of casted spells by 50%. reduces frost nova cd by 5s. haste gained from armor increased by 20%. crit gained from armor increased by 20%.
