More like worst version. It's a horrific remix that completely misses the tone of the old version and even removes a few instruments in favor of adding a single one. On top of that, it's incredibly difficult to find the old version now because the brainlets at the top keep taking it down.

As soon as I got Sophia I realized "oh wait, this is THAT game". Yes. I found out about this game through that one questionable Sophia hentai doujin. I didn't expect to actually like her in-game but she's easily my favorite. I picked the tsundere with the bazooka as my starting S tier character (i forgot her name but she has white hair and has the generic tsundere voice) for a similar reason, I recognized her hairstyle and eye color and clothes from a guro doujin I read a while back and was like "OH BOY THIS IS GONNA BE A SAD GAME ISN'T IT?"

Not knowing the full story and only gleaming certain bits, this song feels like a climactic culmination of story/plotlines/character arcs with a ton of dramatic buildup...and a bittersweet ending. From a music perspective, I can do it for sure. However, I think it fits better this way since it’s the ending part of the music. A lot of my extensions I generally don’t extend the end part because it’s usually too short or it doesn’t align correctly. In this case, I don’t think it would align correctly, so that’s why I didn’t choose to extend that part. Hope this answer helps. :)
