It's not really about him, it's about the team he's on. There are a handful of teams where he'd get the same hate, but on most teams it will be the fairytale story and none of the hate. If he was doing this with the Houston Texans they'd call him the next star QB of the league. The 49ers earned their spot as one of the "hated" teams. Too much success, even if they didn't win a Super Bowl in 30 years. Too many teams that just can't get passed them (like the Packers and Cowboys). Brock Purdy being the missing piece they needed to complete that puzzle while also saving them from that draft trade mistake is the problem, and he's just the one getting the hate for it.

I believe that brock,is like our son. The 49er nation has adopted him,he makes us believe again. Even if he wins or looses on sunday,he has made us proud of those pin point precision passes,using his legs against the lions. We will be sad,but we will know,he's gonna be hungry and so will the rest of that team,to hoist that trophy,at some point...but it was a great ride this year. Brock purdy you and your team can play great on the practice field wet by your guyses room. Kansas City Chiefs are going to refuse to share the Las Vegas Raiders stadium with your team because they think they can beat your team with unequal practice things are locked in the chiefs will not want to change anything to where the 49ers can practice on the Superbowl field like them. The more greedy the chiefs are to your team the more stronger your team will be. You have brought your team one step farther this year than last year. Emotion aside, the issue managerial for his family is that he has $0 guaranteed money in contract. He is playing better than guys in his position who earn $50 million a year and they are not in Super Bowl or even won their playoff game. If Brock snaps his leg, or gets an elbow injury requiring Tommy John, he’s done. He deserves to be paid now, and he shouldn’t get married until he’s been paid for at least 2 years and had assets in his name as a single owner. Divorce is mostly no fault in states and she can file for any reason what so ever and claim part of his assets except what he earned or had before marriage Protect this damn kid, don’t let emotion ruin him. U know how little league football teams use nfl team names sometimes? I’m assuming Brock and his brother played for one of his local kids football teams and were called the Raiders. If u look at the top left of that pic, it looks like a player card picture they take when they take team pics. There is a baby picture of Brock being held up to a giant poster of Dan Marino. Brock wears number 13 because of Marino. The dad is from Florida. They definitely grew up as Dolphins fans.
