All these creators have their networks. We saw it during the day one raid with a bunch of creators working with each other.

@goatseatchili1817 Right, but I never see anyone in those Networks showing/discussing the process of looking into all those secrets. Raids are a lot easier to figure out than hunting every single inch of a Destination, performing certain actions, and then somehow connecting the order of what to do next, etc. That's not necessarily complicated either, but I'm curious to see that part of the Community discuss their work with Puzzles and that kind of thing. Those Networks still had to put in the legwork and we rarely hear about it.

@@Zxykary well consider that after one person finds a regional chest and finds a piece of the code, then they assume all the chests have a portion of the code. Then someone completing all the quests on the new area stumbles on one of the encryption bits in the cyst. So all the other cysts must have one. Etc etc. Gotta think there’s more people playing destiny than ever at an average of 115 thousand people over the last 30 days. Between lfgs, Reddit posts, clans, and content creators, there’s a lot of info being spread around. It’s less incredible to me that people figured it out and more incredible that there’s still things we haven’t found.

I mean I figured out how to get the legendary khvostov by complete accident on the second day of TFS but I couldn’t figure out the motes. Luckily someone got all 15 motes and they combined so I just had to search up the locations for the traveler. You shouldn’t underestimate how much some people play this game to the point where they literally try everything

You can get the encryption bits from the cysts during the quests to unlock them btw, so you dont need to unlock them first then do them for the bits, you can just get the bits as you do the unlock quests

What worked for me: Kill all of the adds before phasing the boss each time. Then only kill the boss once all the adds are dead. I think the game is not properly registering that the boss is spawned and needs time to figure it out. IDK. But it worked for me.

There should be a clarification here. You do NOT need to have all 6 cysts unlocked at the time you begin the quest. You can get the encryption bits as you run through them the first time. I did this and it saved me having to do a lot of stuff twice. This guide helped streamline me getting this done. The thing that takes the most time is doing the overthrow stuff to unlock each cyst.

This quest is bugged yet again. There is a chance you will get stuck at 16 Motes despite collecting all Visions and killing all bosses (even after multiple times). If this happens to you, place all of your Motes into your vault and then kill the Meatball Overthrow Boss and you will get the exotic Mote for Kvostov added to your inventory. This has reportedly worked for numerous people, and I'm one of them. But you are stuck with the remaining 16 motes in your inventory/vault forever though lol.

For those who are stuck on getting the last couple of mote of lights, store your existing mote of lights, fly back in to the Pale Heart, and you should be able to get mote of lights. Thanks Cross for the amazing guide.

Definitely get the visions of the traveler before doing the bosses. I did the bosses before getting the traveler beach balls and had to go back and beat the meatball in the blooming for my final exotic mote.

Quick tip: the hit box for unlocking the exotic khovostov chest is a little funky. You need to stand in the exact spot as Cross did in the video in order to open it. Otherwise for some reason the prompt does not appear.

So, for me, I had been stuck at missing the last key as well. I went back, double checked all chest locations and ran all of the cyst missions again. Triumphs even said I had everything completed. I ran back thru the smothering darkness cyst and there was the last key. I swore I had it, maybe it's a glitch. Let me know if this works for anyone. Good luck!

Thank god i didn’t do khvostov till after i unlocked ergo sum and the exotic class items. You need to do all the cysts for the exotic mission and A LOTTT of overthrow. Got like 6 ergo sums and 5 free exotic class items doing it (class items have a chance to drop from pale heart chests including overthrow ones)

For anyone who's still got the 16 mote bug after beating the last boss you need. Put your 16 motes in your vault then go beat the boss again. It will convert all your motes into the primordial one. Hope this helps anyone who has read this.

Does it matter which boss? I did all the overthrow bosses before I went t and did all the cyst and visions

@robbiehall5139 I don't think so. For me it was the meatball in the blooming. I'd start there and if it doesn't work then go through the other bosses.

Trust me, it doesn’t automatically give u the bosses u haven’t beat yet for each area of overthrow. I fought the subjugator type boss n the Impass several times n a row before I ever even found out there was a tormentor boss. Lol. I wasn’t really tryna do this quest tho, I was just playin around, so I didn’t really care.

@@viralnova661 well i did the one over and over again it finally popped up for me. I’m not sure what the problem was but the birds are in different locations and change

@@All4won0306I figured it out. The quest was bugged and said that I had completed 6/6, when I hadn’t really. I just went and did them one by one like normal and grabbed the encrypted bits along the way.

Btw you dont need to have already done the cysts, you can pick up the parts while you do the custs for the first time.
