Oh, my! I'm old enough to remember shag carpet, horrible 70's color combinations and 8-track cassettes. Avocado colored kitchen appliances and "quadrophonic" sound systems. OK,. given too much away. Nice. For those needle tip CA applicators you can make ‘em yourself. There are some brands o f cotton swabs that have hollow plastic “sticks.” Cut the swabs off and heat the plastic like you’re stretching styrene. Pull it slow enough and the tube stays intact. Cut it to the length you need and push the “fat” end over the CA bottle. Voila! HTH

Good call on not using the window screens, you did such a beautiful job on the interior that it would be a shame not to be able to see it. I've heard you can use a yellow highlighter on the cool white LED to eliminate some of that blue hue. Fantastic job on your build, I love all of the attention to detail.

I remember by dad's apartment had that deep shag carpeting. I believe it was built about 1972 or 73. So that is when the carpet was installed. It was a dark orange with reds and yellows as I remember correctly. Your model looks real good. I don't remember a pinball game in the movie. Wonder if it was Spaceballs the Pinball Game?

I'm into this video. Back in the day, I dated a guy who's Dad had a 70' foot houseboat in a slip on Lake Powell. So, the bathrooms in the back of the RV make sense. Speaking from experience.

A stupefying level of interior detail! And with cool white LEDs like that, who needs blue LEDs? I think your camera/overhead lighting needs a talking to. Parenthetically, you should be wary of "warm" LEDs-- they can be all over the place, color temperature speaking. You might look through your stash and see how they compare. 2800K and 3600K are both considered "warm" but will look rather different to the eye. This is another subject I am indifferent to-- but it's been a while since I've seen the movie, maybe my second childhood has progressed far enough to revisit and enjoy. We'll see. I am enjoying your build-- which is good enough for me.

The kit is scaled to 1 : 32 and the digital files are available online now. The full printed version of the kit has a few details to be finalized before it can be released.

why not put the 12v battery on the bottom of eagle 5 and disguise it as the fuel tank ,that would make changing the battery easier and allow for you to do a little more in the back compartment, also the first roof lighting looked the best

Another great job. That pinball machine is bugging me though. It is too large. It is almost the long and is wider than the bunk beds which puts it close to seven feet long x 4ft wide If possible I would scale it down to about 75% is size

The laser decals are better then inkjet in my opinion......they are less transparent then ink and are waterproof, but if they are not clear-coated they are fairly delicate and can scratch very easily

If you watch " from dusk til dawn ", when they are at the border crossing the toilet is at the rear and has a sliding/concertina door.
