I can understand your fustration of Azucena’s nerfs and ppl discrediting you and others for maining her. I get the same treatment for maining Jun despite maining her back in TTT2 even when she was low tier. What I learned in the FGC, is no matter which character you main, someone in the FGC is going to discredit your accomplishments. That’s when I stopped caring about their feelings and seeking validation from haters.

The beautiful part is that there are probably some people like myself that got to try Azucena in the cnt and love the character's playstyle but unfortunately had to hold back from playing her when the game dropped because of how infamously brain dead she was reduced to by all the bandwagoners only looking for a cheap win using while running 32. I can only speak for myself but there's nothing more annoying than being ostracized by a group of gatekeepers who want to discredit your character choice by proxy of an ongoing exploit used by other players and getting to forefront of that unwarranted hate. Trying to stand out from a playstyle perspective is already hard enough on top of fighting the accusations that all the hard work you put in to learn a character and actually find success in (whether it's rank or etc) being chalked up to you're an xyz player so your accomplishments don't count blah blah blah.

I get that 100% The moment I saw her TRAILER I knew she was gonna be my main no matter what, and I'ma stick to that. It'll be interesting to see how the next few weeks play out

I’m glad they are trying to balance the game out. Azucena was one of the characters that was over-tune on release.

Ngl, Wr3,2 I feel like they wanted it to die. fair enough, eveyone was fed up with it. BUT the 1,1 being unsafe that makes me sad lol, it was my go to poke RIP. Gotta switch to 2,1. The rest of the nerf are well deserved. df1,4,1 tracking was stupid Bright side, b1,1 will track and db3 will do more damage than db4. They'll have distinctive roles of stance mix up or reach.

I play her and I kept hearing people complain about it thinking that they nerfed her to the ground. Seeing this everyone is fuckin overreacting it’s not major nerfs that make her bad now

Just gotta adapt and learn. Her stance mix ups are very good and underrated. That’s what makes fighting games fun. Get better and learn. I’m not panicking. It will make winning with her even more fun.
