She, a teen, did what Iroh couldn't do despite sieging it for 600 days, she captured Ba Sing Se for the Fire Nation And when the Avatar was its most vulnerable, she took the opportunity to strike Aang with lightning. A *shocking* move, but clever. She also continued to be smart, as she gave herself insurance if Aang wasn't actually dead, she gave the credit to Zuko. She's quite the firebending prodigy and strategist

9:44 azula can actually free herself from that because it’s the sozen’s comet they are 10x powerful than usual zuko even freed himself from being fullbody frozen by katara on season 1 on the northern water tribe episode he was able to set himself free when the sun rose coz firebenders draw power from the sun what more on sozin’s comet i think azula didnt fight back anymore even after being handcuffed by katara she can easily melt those metals by her fireblade but she didnt choose to do it she accepted defeat ^^’’

@@user-gg7xb2os9y Its because of the origin of Firebending. Zuko uses a different energy source than Azula. Azula uses her pure anger while Zuko drains his energy from life and the breath itself. Fire means warmth and life. Not Destruction! The Energy Source from Zuko is more stable and on par with Azulas blue flames. EDIT: Spelling

IF she would use the energy source like Zuko does, she would be indeed the strongest Firebender with her blue flames but since she still relies on anger and violence, Zuko was able to catch up to Azula since his energy source is far more stable.

Noticed when she was still a kid, her fire was still orange and her mother was still there. When she's growing up, her fire turned blue and her mother isn't there. Maybe deep down, she miss her mother very much because Blue is the color of loneliness but her mind is full of hatred and is about being perfect in her father's eyes. When she said "My mother told me that I'm a monster. My own mother." Is like a crying for help that she miss her mom but she still hates her because she thought her mom never love her and love Zuko more. The moment when she hallucinated her mom is the moment when she breaks even in comic, she keeps hallucinating her mom and confused between hallucination and reality.

i dont know if im crazy or whatever but i feel like in season 2, azula's fire was almost elegant and well calculated while in season 3, even before mai and ty lee's betrayal, her fire was sort of erratic and an ominous shade of blue
