Woooow im shocked and sooo grateful you posted this video. Were planing to spend our honeymoon there next February but with this mega lack of privacy and comfort we are definitely NOT going there. Im sure the super nice ocean front villas give you more comfort and privacy but for $ 10K a night it’s not even a ripoff but theft….it’s ridiculous! Even though i totally dig the entire design and concept for for the prices they charge they should at least provide a shower, light, aircon and closed rooms. What a joke and what a huge disappointment really

For the price they charge they really give you a whole lot of NOTHING, it’s crazy that Instagram has fooled everyone to think this place is amazing.... like yeah it’s very pretty but I think it’s just too expensive for all the inconveniences

Yup, $ 85 USD per night was way too much for an Ocean Front room, no electricity no air con, no room service, no hot water, weak WiFi...and in the 15 years since I stayed here the only thing that has changed is yup the price.... The hype was and is all about the hype and really if you've traveled through the Islands this Palapa's and funky art stuff isn't really worth $ 500+++ or more USD per night. When Azulik first opened there was only 12 rooms on the cliffs over the water, it has grown, and of course the Custom Design Architecture was one of a kind, since then many have copied this for many other hotels in Tulum even the way overpriced " Birds Nests ", come on folks $20 bucks for a Corona! Give you head a serious shake! However what is great and very important for many, myself included, is the beach as it is CO ( clothing optional ) and no kids and very LGBTA friendly as many of the staff are too. So as the name Azulik suggests As-You-Lick enjoy lovely people, open sex on the beach Life Styles away!!!
@anthonyh89293 жыл бұрын
I really want to visit azulik for the great design and pictures, but they need to make the rooms more comfortable.... looks like we're gonna drop 1.4k$ for 1 night in a sea villa, which looks like it'd cost a few hundred in BALI. I get eco friendly but they need to make it a eco friendly price then lol. no all inclusive or any lux amenities
@JenneyMartin3 жыл бұрын
Right, I don’t understand why natural costs so much lol, should be the opposite, the air conditioning and the light situation is a bit much. Is unique but is definitely overpriced. Thanks for watching!!

Thank you for watching beautiful ❤️, it is definitely unique for a hotel lol, I was so afraid people will go there after watching my vlog or pictures and being completely disappointed, that would be the worst, actually when we booked it we didn’t even know about the lights thing 😩😂. There aren’t many Azulik Vlogs so hopefully this one explains a little deeper, saludos 💋

Thank you for all the Details you described during your stay. Forgive me for not knowing the weather There very well, but as You Showed later on in the Video, water leaking from the ceiling in 1 of the Rooms… what happens/What were to happen if it had Rained? Did the people that run that place tell you anything about what to do in such a scenario, would everyone there be drenched, or are there dry areas in such a case… especially where you sleep?

Do you have to be a guest to visit the museums, nest, etc? I think that’s all I’m interested in now. Me and my fiancé are thinking of going to Tulum this summer. Looking for a place to stay. Almost considered this place, but after watching your video… I think we had a change of mind lol
@JenneyMartin2 жыл бұрын
Lol, you can visit the museum even if you are not a guest, you just have to pay for it. I think it was like 15 to 25 dollars. Also for the nest you would have to reserve like any other restaurant, you don’t have to stay there either

My first thought is that complaining about stuff like bugs is missing the point of what Azulik is supposed to be about. But a part of the whole eco and sustainability movement is accessibility, and with what they’re charging they obviously don’t care about that, especially given what they provide you overall. It’s a scam. It’s greenwashing.

Hiii! Thank you so much for this video! We are going there end of April and this has helped so much. I have a few questions! 🤣 You were on the best for the beginning part of the video, do they allow people to take photos there even if it’s not reserved or did you have to sneak in there lol You also said at the end that they invited you to the nest for drinks, is that the same occasion or two separate times? One last thing, what was the price for the couple massage? 💖 Thank you so much again! You are so amazing for providing all this info to us! Beautiful blog.

Sorry, typo! 🤦🏻♀️ “You were on the NEST at the beginning of the video” lolol

Thank you so much for watching, please subscribe for more content like these. If you are staying in Azulik then you can go to that part of the Nest anytime you want to take pictures, if you are staying somewhere else then no, only if you make reservations to the Nest Restaurant. I took those videos and pictures in the morning, breakfast is always in the Nest so we would take a few pics since there’s not a lot of people there for breakfast, is always more crowded at night. The price for the massage is crazy over $400 dollars for two people for only an hour. Let me know if you have any more questions ❤️

It’s beautiful 🤩 thanks for sharing your amazing experiences! Was this last January ( last month) , in the restaurant I don’t see any mask or social distancing... just curious about the coronavirus there? Did they test people before hand ? Also how much was one night? You look beautiful as always 🥰
@JenneyMartin3 жыл бұрын
Thank you beautiful, and yes it was last month. They take your temperature at the airport but we didn’t have to get tested before going, now the law changed and I think you do. Everyone in Tulum seem to not care about the virus lol, very few wore masks and at the hotel it was fine because it is a jungle and there’s not many people so everyone was outside and way over 6 feet from each other even at the restaurants, the staff of the hotel all wore masks but didn’t enforce the guests to wear them. I’m sure a lo of people do get the virus thought, we were so careful. This hotel is on the expensive side, some rooms are way over 1000 dollars just a night and plus you have to pay for food and drinks. Check in expedía for pricing, look at the Mayan villas, I wouldn’t recommend the smallest villa, it was super tiny and awful lol. We book all of our trips on Expedia 🌱🌱🌱🌹
