💲 NEED FINANCIAL ADVICE? 💲
1) Google "fee-only financial adviser" or visit www.NAPFA.org (largest association of fee-only financial advisers). NOT an affiliate link
2) The first question to ask any financial adviser is, "Are you a fiduciary to me 100% of the time". Get the answer in writing
3) Please note that some people call themselves "fee-based". This is NOT the same as fee-only. Fee-only advisers have committed to being fiduciary to you 100% of the time.
4) Personally, I would only hire an adviser who is a fiduciary to me 100% of the time. This is not a suggestion on what you should do. Just sharing my personal preference.
⚠️ Azul's "Scammer" Warning ➡ PLEASE READ! ⚠️
Be careful of scammers. In the comments section, I will NEVER ask you to contact me, offer any investment products, recommend a stock broker, or anything similar. Some scam bot commenters 'ask' for investment help, and later, other comment bots reply with "how great X idea/investment/person is" in the replies. These are scam threads. Do not fall for them.
🚨 Azul's VIDEOS ARE NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE (Disclaimer) 🚨
This information is only provided as an informational resource and should not be viewed as investment advice or recommendations. To get professional financial advice from a fee-only financial advisor near you, please visit www.napfa.org.
The decisions on how to invest, when to retire, and other financial planning topics are some of the most important financial decisions you will make in your life. I urge you to seek professional financial advice as you make this decision. Ideally, from a financial adviser, AND a CPA AND an attorney. Having the perspective of all three professions will help you make the right decision for you and your family.
This information is being presented without consideration of the investment objectives, risk tolerance, or financial circumstances of any specific investor and may NOT be suitable for all investors.
This information is NOT intended to, and should NOT, form a primary basis for any investment decision that you may make. Always consult your own legal, tax, and/or investment advisor before making any investment/tax/estate/financial planning considerations or decisions.
Spoiler Alert: There are no "get rich" programs. Rather, just basic blocking & tackling and putting in time and care. Do your homework, choose wisely and (IMHO) work with experienced professionals who are fiduciary to you 100% of the time.

I go to my bank drive through atm, not other sketchy locations. I wd enough cash to spend , to avoid using debit card leaving data everywhere. Some businesses charge extra for cards , unknown to us….cash still is safest payment. Rarely use cc unless for bigger purchases, but people don’t realize a thief can drain $ leaving us in huge debt, forget about tiny rewards points bc it’s not worth it.

@@frankdelplato5997 it _is_ the same tone for every key. (Monotone as you said). The chip reader is more secure than the magnetic card reader and you can’t get skimmed by a criminal’s skimmer that’s been attached to the ATM or gas pump. Gas pumps end the transaction when you put the pump handle back. Grocery stores and retail locations end the transaction after the single tap. The ATM is a special case and I must admit that I pull cash for the cleaning lady and have no memory of how I end the transaction. I just take my money and go. Yikes!

Shimmers are devices that can be installed directly into card readers to copy chip data. Tampering with card readers Fraudsters can tamper with legitimate card readers to skim card information. Contactless pay Contactless pay is considered the safest way to use credit cards. At 5:14 he finally mentions that they need to have _shoulder surfed_ your PIN for this scam to work! (Unless there really are some rogue ATMs that don't require you to reenter your PIN for each transaction in the session). I think the biggest problem with contactless ATMs is that they require your PIN to be entered more than once in a session. This is giving several chances for your PIN to be shoulder surfed.

@@pjacksreads536 They're tied together to a certain extent, but not entirely. I don't know about your bank, but mine have always had different account numbers for checking and savings. Not that we have so much money to go around, but we also kept a couple of accounts in our former state active which are entirely different organizations than the accounts in our new state. All told, there's quite a bit of insulation between all of them. Anyone can use multiple banks BTW.

That's one explanation for losing money from bank accounts. After months of money disappearing from my checking account and after changing several banks, I just stopped using banks, period. Many times, my direct deposit wouldn't be available on the deposit date, and my deposit would be drained within one or two days. Each and every bank I questioned always said, "We don't know what happened." I jyst got fed up and refused direct deposits to any bank. It worked for me.

In my college days there were ATMs that you could swipe your card instead of inserting it. There was one of these in a local bar district at building where the owner hired a security guard to watch over the parking lot at night, mostly to keep non-customers from parking there. It was eventually discovered that he would check for open accounts after anyone used it. If he could he'd pull out $20. Since most people were out drinking they didn't notice extra money being taken out.
