Maybe the Metas took her shut-down drone for research or something. All that was left of her was a badly damaged drone. I do feel sorry for her. She was programmed a certain way, and she followed her directives. Only at the end was there even a hint she could have been something else.

@@zenixkiryu she used to have backups. Her mainframe was destroyed, which was containing her central 'self'. All that was left after the battle and her throwing everything at them was one damaged, failing droneself that contained all that remained of Compiler. Helena Meta ensured she couldn't upload to any new shells, especially after the loss of her mainframe. That drone was all there was left of her. And it shut down due to damage and loss of power. Possibly permanently unless someone recovered it and repairs it. Which, from Helena's behavior, suggests that won't happen.
