As a fan of racing myself, it's rare to see anime-related things on the racetrack, especially in Europe. It's a shame the Nürburgring race had to be called off due to bad weather. At the end of the stream, I believe Mafia mentioned how hard it will be to top this anniversary celebration (to which some of the cosplayers jokingly suggested holding next year’s event in space, with a nod to Elon Musk, lol). The scale and execution made me realize how much the Japanese love Azur Lane, as it’s incomparable to the CN and Global anniversaries. Given that AL’s revenue is only average compared to other big gacha titles, I have even more respect for the Japanese passion for the game PS: That Elbe body pad is peak culture 😂

If you're interested in things like figures, you don't need proxies for those or some other merch from shops that ship overseas. But for any place that doesn't ship outside Japan, that's how proxies work. They order the item, then ship it to you overseas. You should check around for the best proxy service for your area and situation.

That is so awesome that they are going to be in the Nurburgring 24H race, as a racing fan that is awesome to see. Hopefully they will do good and finish the 24 hours because that is a tough task to do. Things I really excited for are Belfast's new skin, Bismarck's Oath Skin and Amagi CV, along with the Collab, haven't heard of it but I'll know when the event is live.

I actually don't know full Japanese. I can understand some conversational Japanese from exposure to anime and vtubers, then paired with context clues and machine translation of text.

Thanks for the recaps as always! I'll add more thoughts here after I finish watching them both. Overall a really grand show! Especially that fireworks display, they really went all out this year. I'm pretty happy with the skins and the ships, but I must admit to being a little concerned about some of the business/game direction decisions. There's so much mobile competition now with some really big hitters on the horizon as well, and I feel they should have probably pulled out Yamato for this one. Or for an even bigger splash, a Yamato banner immediately followed by Amagi CV for a double UR. I don't want to see them wait too long on some of the ships like Iowa, Yamato, and Missouri because by then it might be too little too late. You're definitely right about a PC version. I play on emulator 85% of the time anyways, so having a smoothly-running dedicated client on Steam or wherever else would be absolutely amazing.

Thanks for watching! It was a really fun filled event. It's true there's a lot of general competition in the mobile game space, but the revenue has been solid. I do want them to reveal the 3D dorm soon and hopefully it goes the distance. I feel like they're saving some heavy hitters for a big story event.
