I love the Queen Mary 2. She is an ocean going liner, I have been on her 3 times, the last time I won the trip. The crew are second to none, I feel for them all , god bless them, I have great memories

They need to sort out their embarkation and disembarkation policy - it is a disgrace!

It all seems so very sad. We've sailed with Cunard a few times and feel so very sorry for all the lovely staff and crew onboard who have made our time onboard so enjoyable over the past few years. I doubt our Sept trip will go ahead, but we've transferred this month's booking to July 2021 in the hopes that things will be getting back to normal. I feel a loyalty to those who've served us so well over the past 4 years and hope that Cunard and all the other companies survive this hiatus. It must have been quite emotional for you too Steve watching these giants of the sea sailing off to an uncertain future. Many thanks for the video.

I fully agree. We have also sailed with Cunard, twice last year. Never thought this would happen. Our thoughts are also with the fantastic crew and their families. They are Cunard's most valuable asset. I hope they do not lose them. Steve, thank you for reminding us our great memories by showing us recent footage of these wonderful ships. The glorious weather added to the viewing. Look forward to more in course.

We were on the maiden cruise for Azura and Britannia and should have been on the new Iona now. Hope it won’t be too long to wait to see this fabulous sight again.

I should have been on the QM2 in May and the Iona on 7 June. Was on Ventura last year and QV in 2018. Hope they all sail again soon.

Seeing all those ships in Weymouth Harbour (Portland?) is going to be quite a sight for the locals. If Ventura goes on the repatriation voyage I presume the rest are going to stay there until Cruises resume? It’s all quite surreal. Another great video Steve - with the ships looking magnificent in the sun light.

Thank you very much Joyful, these ships keep rotating in and out of Southampton it is a job to keep track of them all as there are so many and even ones that have never been to Southampton before this is a ship enthusiasts dream but under quite sad times.

Yes it is quite a sight in Weymouth Bay. Last weekend both Queens were anchored along with three P&O ships Acadia, Aurora and Ventura. This morning Queen Victoria (reasonably close to shore) has the company of FIVE P&O ships - Britannia, Acadia, Aurora, Oceana and Ventura. Also visible on the horizon somewhere near Swanage was Marella Explorer.

Very sad times. We w Ere on the Ventura and Britania last year.we got to know some of the crew. They work very hard for little reward. Hope your back in work very soon.

Totally agree with you. We've taken a few cruises with Cunard in the past 4 years and the ship's stewards, chefs, bar and restaurant staff etc all work incredibly hard and long hours for relatively low pay. I was also surprised and utterly disgusted how rude (and in one case abusive) some of the guests are to them - such ignorance is inexcusable.

these ships are horrible, floating block of flats with a point at one end
