through snapshot we can recover the entire vm and also under line disk.

yes, correct, this is one of the option to recover if you have snapshot taken. Azure Backup triggers on a daily basis and not required any manual intervention to take backup but disk snapshot needs manual effort. If you have multiple disks to your VM, it will take much time & some time you will even see issues with disk Lun alignment (this is very critical for Linux & few apps).
