this is fantastic. is there a visual feature type or alternative for getting measurements in the image? if that is a thing?

What kind of measurements are you interested in?

@@CloudCastsAlanSmith I am interested in inches or centimeters. End goal being to somehow measure the height, width, and estimate the volume of an apple with some math.

Hi Navjot, You can use the Read API for this: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cognitive-services/computer-vision/how-to/call-read-api "Submit data to the service You submit either a local image or a remote image to the Read API. For local, you put the binary image data in the HTTP request body. "

How would you compare Microsoft Computer Vision with OpenCV? And also, thanks for sharing.

Azure Computer Vision provides AI as a service, there is a free tire with limited capacity, for more capacity you pay to use the service. The models are trained by Microsoft and provide very sophisticated image analysis. OpenCV is a library that can be used for creating computer vision solutions, it means you will have to write quite a lot of code it create a vision solution, and probably also have to use PyTorch or TensorFlow to add deep learning capabilities.

Funny error. If anyone else is just renaming webp files as jpg files then you will get a bad request error. Just use an actual converter or file that is originally jpg. I know I should not have been doing that but if anyone else gets this error then there is your fix
