Allergen-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies:
To a large bowl add:
5 cups fine almond flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
Whisk to mix well.
In a separate bowl combine:
1/2 cup softened coconut oil
1/2 cup melted honey
4 tsp. vanilla extract
Stir to combine the wet ingredients
Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well.
Chill 30 min while you preheat oven to 350 F.
Drop spoonfuls of batter on a cookie sheet. I like to use parchment paper.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until slightly brown.
Let cool 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
Enjoy!

I buy from Country Life Natural Foods , MI. They ship free in orders over $99. It ships fast and very well protected. I just bought honey in a glass container and it came bubble wrapped with shipping peanuts in a separate box. I’m very happy their attention to detail.

I have ordered many 25 lb bags of the organic cane sugar and it has never looked like yours. Thankfully our drop is just minutes away and 75% of our bulk food/cleaners/spices/and many items come from Azure. I will never stop buying from Azure. Love them and all of their products! The rest of our stuff is from Costco and local farms.

Costco is a rip and there food spoils faster than ever. There giving us old food smaller bags for higher prices I was just there they are raising there prices to where you can’t even walk out without 800.00 of nothing. I was just there. Plus nothing they sell is organic. Really nothing is organic anymore. Look what there spraying on us 24/7. Now Azure I’m ready to quit them on a lot of thing like veggies fruit anything fresh Our garden did really bad live in New Mexico I’m trying to find bushels of tomatoes green beans peas Can’t find it no where.

In the pacific north west we have abundant Azure drop locations, some even coming every week. I have to be sooooo careful of the prices. Lately things that were always a good are not at all any more. I do think their line of coconut products (oil, cream, milk, flakes...) is really the best deal around.

I see all of these YT videos where people buy from Azure, and I'd love to do that. Like your family, I live an hour and a half from the nearest drop point (My town has bumper stickers that say 'Locally Isolated', LOL). I've looked at their website, pondered trying to get a drop point here, etc. I just don't have time to be the instigator of that. We do have some Amish/Mennonite stores a little closer, 45-min/1 hour, and we do go to those, with coolers in the truck, but it's a half-day excursion. Good prices though, and things you can't find elsewhere. One of them even grinds their own peanut butter with various other flavors. Our famer's market in this little liberal town is VERY Expensive. I grow most of our food, always have, and this year the weather is better than last year. Thank you for the very nice video! I still wish I could get some of this stuff, but I just have to tell myself I've lived without it almost 70 years, so we'll just keep on keeping on! It's good to see young people like you getting back to basics!

Thank you for the pointers! We move to acreage in a few months and I’m looking to go more self-reliant and less processed for my family. I recently watched your video on meal planning for a year and just tonight sat down and thought of 28 different meals my family thoroughly enjoys… it was hard! 😅 and > a third are chicken meals! I get all of my wheat berries from Bread Beckers. They have a huge variety, including many ancient grains, and the shipping cost, although higher than it used to be which I understand, isn’t so high it kills the value of the grains. They are fantastic quality, and I’ve never had an issue. I get Hard and Soft white most regularly, but also use Spelt, Rye and Barley. Since my first order from here, I’ve never ordered anywhere else. They also have a good variety of beans and lentils that I also buy. Black beans, kidney, pinto, canalini, and brown lentils are my staples. Absolutely love this company. And Sue Becker has a wealth of information on you tube as well as her blog.

There prices have more than doubled since they stopped doing their own deliveries. They used to deliver to the local Seventh Day Adventist church. Their prices on organic grains, flours, oils, nuts, dried fruits, spices could not be beat. Even with the free shipping over $99 I cannot afford to buy from them. So sorry to see their focus change.

Thank you ever so much for putting out this video. I am a new AS customer of only two months and I'm not 100% on board with them. I would really like to find a comparable alternative and looking forward to reading the comments here. I'm in North Carolina so if anyone knows of any good bulk shopping here I'd really would be interested. thank you all. PS: the reason AS delivers on Sundays is (and I am only guessing here) that they are a 7th Day Adventist company. Again, I am guessing as I notice they are closed on Saturdays, but open on Sundays. again, thank you all

I've always had a good experience with their produce. And if anything goes wrong it's not hard to have them credit you the cost. Maybe it's where we are located so it doesn't have too long to ship on the truck? It's cheaper then I can buy it at the store here too, but we don't have many local produce options.

Calling the cookies allergen free is a bit misleading since they contain almond flour and tree nuts are one of the big 8 allergens.
@TheFromScratchFarmhouse
@TheFromScratchFarmhouse 4 ай бұрын
True... a better description is gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, peanut-free, but in our house we just say "allergen-free" because our household's allergies have been gluten and dairy. I doubt it matters what I call them though since someone with a tree nut allergy (or someone making them for someone with this allergy) is obviously not going to try the recipe. 😅
