@@strokeguy4835 Well it's mostly Species identification, searching ship wrecks, tagging some animals but, it really depends were they send you or where you choose to go and what research you want to pursue, the job can get lonely if you don't have a solid job, most of the time you'll get move to station to station every 6-8 months. Here's a tip; most of the deep sea creatures can be seen closer to the surface in the colder areas if you want to find a species that's your place, mostly because no one want's to go there, everybody and I mean everybody want's to got to Fiji or some not frozen hell-scape you'll find no shortage of weird and colourful life if you want a tropical paradise Fiji is the place it's a haven, if you want discover a new species then the north is were it's good.

For that hamster thing; When I was also around 8 years old, my family went on a week long vacation. We put lots of food in my two hamsters cage and left. When we came back, we had realized that they had eaten all of the food and the boy starved to death probably, and then the girl had EATEN HIM and there was blood everywhere in the cage and on the hamster and it was horrific.

My sister's hamster died because my brother decided to see what happens when the cat and the hamster are put in the same box, but the cat didn't kill it, my grandmother pulled the hamster out of the cats mouth and saved it until it bit her hand and she threw it into a wall. After that is walked in circles for a few days before dying. Let's just say we don't keep anymore small animals

Not quite sure. The open vent caused her to get a sinus infection that effect her eyes. The left one grew all big and crusty (it was super gross) she eventually tore both of her eyes out and ate them. I still feel super bad about it

My hamster pickles died in a very peaceful way tbh. I noticed he was ill overnight a week before, my mom and I spent everyday with him feeding him bread soaked in milk since he refused to eat or drink anything except that. We’d kiss him, tell him that we loved him. One day I got back from school and noticed he was very close so I kissed him a final time and held him close to me. I set him down and he passed away a few minutes later. I think he was waiting for me before he died.

I had a hamster and I was in middle school so I left to school earlier than my brother and cousin that’s been living with us and they’re both in elementary. Basically it was my sisters hamster but I took care of it and my cousin was mad with my sister at the time and we suspect she set our hamster free cause when I came back from school the cage was closed but he was gone. My mom would be the only one at home at the time and she wouldn’t set it free.
