About the compression... I've watched a few videos saying that pop artists utilize compression to make it sound louder. Pop music is generally played in public areas: the louder the sound, the more attention it draws, and the more revenue it brings in, but it sacrifices rich tones and good quality sounds. It's why old-fashioned people complain that pop music sounds like garbage nowadays.

You would think there would be consistency in the mastering and as a top music company, they wouldn't squash the track so much as they did 😂😂😂
