I thing that i disagree with this build is using coup de gras instead of cut down. While it’s true that cuop de grace can buff more things cut down improves laning a lot more and it makes it a lot easier to get to the dark harvest treshold ( which convinently is 50%)

Yeah but that's not really the point of the build. It's just supposed to execute. Realistically, going full damage runes in general isn't that good on immobile mages. You'd rather run at least a little utility and/or healing.

Gras is French for fat and it's pronounced "gra". Grace is the same in English (although the phrase coup de grace technically means "finishing blow", not "graceful blow") and is pronounced "grass". Also, coup is pronounced "coo". So the full thing in French is pronounced "coo de grass", while in English it's pronounced "coo de gra". 👍

The french word grace can mean both the english word grace but also mercy. Coup de grace means strike of mercy, as in finishing someone off who is going to die anyway to shorten their suffering. The expression has its origin in hunting and executions.

Funny enough this exact build and runes is what I run for Teemo too; by 15 mins, you force the enemy team to run 4-5 oracles, and think twice about just walking around. Well, I do run ghost poro tho; same amount of ap with some extra map awareness and auto-pings whenever an enemy walks near it.

As a vel enthusiast, the way I deal with them is to just predict where they are going to dash, if you can disengage their engagement, you'd have chance to outplay and turn the fight around.

em actually I'm pretty sure Coup de Grace and Cut Down don't increase true damage, so coup is prob objectively worse than cut down (besides smaller threshold) bc ur more likely to damage them with true when they're low, so missing out on more damage

Nah KZbin comment is right about the prononciation of "coup de grace" being "coup de grass". Coup de grace is french and it's pronounced grass. The same way that Leblanc is french, and means "the white" and it's not pronounced "le blank" but "Le blan"

There is no double s in "grâce", and the "ce" is absolutely pronounced. 5:40 is a correct pronunciation, although indeed, french people would skip the 'e' and say "coup d'grâce".
