The best case ia when you hear someone breaking in. DONT HIDE IN YOUR HOUSE. THEY ARE LOOKING FOR VALUABES THEY WILL LOOK EVERYWHERE. I would get my ph and leave the house, by the window, and if i cant because its too high. Hide behind your window curtain (if it is long enough to hide your legs, if no, you'd really rather hide in closet behind clothes and racks) . Hiding in closet or storage is the first thing robbers would look in. Or if they are under your door. You can scream something like. MOM, DAD SOMEONE IS UNDER THE DOOR. It might scare them so they would go. Even if there are no parents in the house. But before you scream it, make sure you can escape from the house using window. Because if they wont be scared. They will know u are in the house. And will look for you.

i cant open or climb out of any windows though, and theres not much places to hide. so, id grab my stuff, slide out the back door, grab my bike and open the fence. if the fence is locked and i cant open it, we have this lock thing thats easy to open from inside so id unlock that. id then ride my bike from alum rock to berryessa. not that far in my opinion. then i drive to my grandmas apartment which is in berryessa. thats probably better but id be scared to death-
