B&B EP1 - Mantic Halo Miniatures Game : Can they break the curse?

Halo minis game, the scale will be 40mm. Leanings from most are toward a Spartan battle royal game. Meh. What do you think? Will Mantic break the curse of Halo?

Im super bummed their version of a Halo tabletop game is rumored to be 40mm scale. As such I'm not sure I'll be getting into it. I am stoked for the All Out War return tho.

I hear ya. I think 40mm for my eye, still would go ok in any 28mm-32mm terrain/table I have. For me, while I like the very-likely self-contained standalone game aspect this is likely to be, I think if this is a Spartan v Spartan "multiplayer" battle royal type game, it just doesn't hold the appeal for me that the Covenant v UNC would. We shall see though. Details are so thin right now. One thing is for sure: Mantic is very good at listening to the community and giving us surprises. :)
