Truly a great bluesman. Listening to him always left me smiling and feeling good. Only caught him live once in my college freshamna year- 1972. Took opportunity to meet him backstage abnd sign a poster that I have hanging on my wall. RIP dear soul.

B.B. King passed away today and right now I'm still overwhelmed by the sadness. I am watching the concert and thinking to myself... goodness my, he is playing every single note with such a feeling, such passion. He is enjoying every second on that stage! It's hard to imagine he did this for tens of thousands nights during his lifetime, but indeed he did! Music was his life! He did that for more than 60 years. The number of gigs B.B. played for all these years surpasses my days on this planet (I'm about 10 000 days old).

I love this smoking version of "To Know You is to Love You." He seldom performed it after this period.
