THE MODULAR AND FLEXIBLE STORAGE AND LOGISTICS SYSTEM
The BÖCKELT TOWER® cassette rack is a flexible storage and logistics system from Böckelt. Modularly structured, solidly constructed and innovatively equipped, the Böckelt cassette storage system ensures individual and space-saving stock-keeping. Individual planning ensures efficient utilisation of space.
The Böckelt cassette rack system enables fast and direct access to any material; work time can be much more effectively used and production can be more cost-efficient. Machine runtimes, and thus productivity are increased, tooling and non-productive times are reduced.
CASSETTE RACK SYSTEM WITH SOLID CONSTRUCTION AND VAST STORAGE CAPACITY
The BÖCKELT TOWER® cassette storage system is individually adapted to and designed for the specific requirements. Thus with the dynamic cassette storage system Böckelt offers an optimal solution for every enterprise. Girder supports, consisting of double-T profiles and completely welded steel profiles reflect the solid cassette rack design and ensure a high level of on-the-job safety. The BÖCKELT TOWER® cassette rack offers incredible storage capacity and is quickly and easily operated with a forklift. Thus a high degree of process reliability is guaranteed at a comparatively low capital outlay. Effortless removal of material via the cassette rack results in less material damage and a faster material swap is possible at any time.
MAXIMUM STORAGE DENSITY AND EFFECTIVE SPACE UTILISATION THROUGH BÖCKELT TOWER®
Designed to save space with a modular concept, the constructions are adapted individually to spatial conditions and enable effective utilisation of space. The Böckelt cassette rack with its space-saving design make maximum storage density possible. The self-supporting system cassettes are inserted in the BÖCKELT TOWER® and they are also used for in-plant transport. The cassettes are tailored to the respective application.
SPECIAL SOFTWARE AND MODERN TRANSPONDER SYSTEM FOR DYNAMIC MATERIALS MANAGEMENT
Special storage management software and a modern transponder system enable dynamic materials management with the BÖCKELT TOWER® cassette rack. For example, different employees and multiple departments can call up the actual stock levels and view the precise positions of the various materials. Metal sheets / metal plates, entire metal sheet packages, pipes, profiles or other stored goods are assigned to the respective cassette in the BÖCKELT TOWER® cassette rack, and thanks to RFID technology their positions are detected automatically. The user-friendly operator interface guarantees efficient and intuitive implementation. And thanks to intuitive LED light signals on the individual storage locations, looking for material or cassettes is extremely time-saving.

Material requirements imposed on the BÖCKELT TOWER®, for example by machines, can occur flexibly through use of scanners, mobile and stationary entry terminals or via custom interfaces. The storage cassette with the needed material is highlighted in the system and also signals its target location. In addition an internal logistics job can be generated to support the reliable and efficient material flow.
Moreover, the possibilities of networking physically separated BÖCKELT TOWER® cassette storage systems contribute to dynamic materials management. The cassette rack can also be seamlessly integrated into existing structures and workflows.
Thus costs are minimized and productivity is increased.
