Búcsú a Gödöllői Erdei Vasúttól - Farewell to the narrow gauge forest railway of Gödöllő

A rövid életű Gödöllői Erdei Vasutat 2017-ben kezdték építeni, 2020-tól szállított menetrend szerint utasokat. A járművei téglagyárakból és bányaüzemekből érkeztek, így muzeális értékkel bírnak. Az arborétum új tulajdonosa nem tart igényt a kisvasútra, így az 2023. november elsejével befejezte működését, a vonal pedig elbontásra kerül.
The construction of the short-lived narrow gauge forest railway of Gödöllő started in 2017, scheduled operation began in 2020. The vehicles came from brick factories and mining railways and thus they are part of industrial heritage. The narrow gauge railway does not fit into the plans of the new owner of the botanic garden, so operation ceased on 1st of November, 2023. The line is going to be demolished in the upcoming months.
