Czech or Slovak? I always thought verbuňk was Czech... This is just amazing! So rhythmic, powerful, just beautiful! As well as the song - what is this song?? Also an amazing audience, how they clapped in a way that added the perfect rhythym to the dance and made it sound (to my unexperienced German ears) like a širáš (is that what that Slovak counterpart to the Czech verbunk is called?) or whatever dance it is the Slovaks do so often (audio-wise, not visually, although there are similarities, too)! If anyone knows more about this, please tell me :) Much love from Germany!
