हलली जो उठतो तो मालवणी नावावर काही खपवतों मुळात मालवणी आमटीत टमाटो कुणी घालत नाही एव्हढे वेळकाढू धोरण कुणाकडे नसते, आजकालच्या पिढीकडे असेल दुसरी गोष्ट, प्रत्येक जण लसूण घालत नाहीत काही ठराविक जातीत लसूण वापरतात काहीजण कडीपत्ता पण फोडणीत टाकतात, मी मूळ मालवण चीच आम्ही वाटपात अर्धा कांदा बारीक करत बसायची गरज नसते थोडा आल्याचा तुकडा धणे आठ दहा दाणे मिरी लाल सुकी मिरची v खोबरे, मिरची धणे मिरी थोडावेळ भिजत घालतो ,आंबट पणाला, चिंच किंव्हा आगोळ नाहीतर कोकम, तुकड्यांना हळद मीठ माशांची मिरची पूड लाऊन ठेवतो, थोडा कांदा फोडणीला बस किंव्हा टिकले करायचे तर फोडणी n घालता सगळ्या माशांना तिखट हळद मीठ, आगोल आणि वाटप लाऊन थोडे पाणी घालून चुलीवर ठेवले व खदखद ले की पातेले हलून परत चुलीवर ठेऊन दोन मिनिटात तयार मासे पटकन शिजतात
