I remember anticipating this album for months and it sounded like trash to me when it first came out. This song and INLFTRGMH are the only two songs I genuinely enjoyed. It's definitely at the bottom of my list when it comes to their discography. I felt like a hater until Scrim finally came out last year and said this was his least favorite $uicideboy$ album. Their vocals and adlibs just sound so uncomfortable for most of this album. Which Scrim also said that he was too damn high to even sing a bar clearly because he was on so many drugs.

When this album dropped I thought it was the hardest shit bcuz I was heavy on drugs and just loved srims drugged up voice now that I'm sober and listen back to im so glad he got sober bcuz even tho it's still hard asf to me you can definitely tell how down bad he was with the drugs and also this album is very personal on how both of them were mentally at this time

What's crazy Casey is that Tech N9ne used to be my favorite artist from 2008-2015. Its now been $B from 2016 until now, and its because they give me the exact same raw underground vibe that Tech did when I first found him. It's wild that you were a big Tech N9ne fan as well and you now fw $B heavy. The $uicieboy$ are arguably the new Tech N9ne, except even bigger.

Can’t tell on the production remotely but those verses, man those are rough when he’s almost slurring through the majority. I’d look back on this with contempt to if I were him, but it’s not even that. At least you can say it kinda matches the tone/aesthetic of $B and the album itself. In some, weird way. The verses though they’re really not clever throughout the project writing wise and you could tell dude was going through the motions with the shit. I mean he writes way better shit with actual bars. Double entendres, similes, hyperbolic shit etc. Happy dudes clean and hoops for some cardio. Gonna need that for that cardiovascular damage he definitely caused during those times

those last few bars from Ruby have a bit of a dark back story to it. When they said they want to lace up their Nike Decades and meet at heavens gate, they meant Heaven's Gate which was a demonic cult and a couple hundred people committed suicide, and when they were found all of the people who died were wearing Nike Decades which is what Ruby is referring to.
