The concert was repeated over 4 days. Almost 400,000 fans were there. I was there every day. Unbelievable! I didn't have a voice from singing along for days. The stage was 102m wide, the PA had more than 1MW of power. D&B system of the latest design. In June 2022 we are in Frankfurt to celebrate :-)

I was on so many concerts of this epic band. Their lyrics have influenced my life more than my genetics i guess 😂. It's not just German Hard Rock, it's a way of life and thinking. I think no other band was so hard attacked by press and media. They wanted to destroy these 4 guys from Frankfurt by lies, but they missed in every way 😂. Onkelz. The press made them superstars with all their hate, anger and lies. They banned them, they hunted them and they tried to break them. So everything the band achived they did on their own. Even politicians declared them enemy number one. In the end we achived everything. We are family.

in 1995 i saw them in Koblenz, germany. my first real rock concert. it was loud as hell and crowdet as f. i thought i wouldnt survive. they played this one as song number 4. the slow part was a relieve, the fast part turned everybody even more crazy. i jumped once and didnt hit the ground again, i was stuck half way between people around me for the next few songs. it was a livechanging experience

The 4 dudes that abused their 'instruments' like barbarians like 40 years ago became the (not only in my opinion) biggest German Hard Rock Band ever. There was nothing like Onkelz before and there will never be something like Onkelz again. Not in my Lifetime (40 years old). I saw them live in Dortmund at the end of '90s with my first girlfriend who brought me to them. Becoming part of this Spirit of music changed my life. I love those 4 Guys. They are my soulbrothers, even that I never talked to one of them. They talked to me. It is a pleasure to see that they get respected for their music also in countrys who have tons of good Rock Acts after times when they had real trouble to find locations for their Gigs. Long ago, but they went through it and now they are just a living LEGEND!

My first show with the onkelz was 1995. The last Show Frankfurt 2018. I see over 40 shows all over Germany. Onkelz Was Born in 1980, fight in the early 90s as outlaws. Hard working no tv no Radio but a big big fancrowd. That's the way ist it, had Photos from this gig for you

As a german man I can say,... sorry for my english :P But seriously, I try to be objectiv. In germany its an very, very, very controversial band because of their historie. There are just a few great bands in germany and I wont count them all but if anyone would give them a place there is rammstein at first and next there is böhse onkelz. (just if you look at the standards, at the sounds and shows.. at least the money that would paid for them) Lets get back to Onkelz... So great lyrics, great shows, great guitar... I mean.. just take a look at this concert in this video! They took a different way offside from ordinary mainstream rock stuff without newspapers and television and they made it. The whole historie of this band is impressive and disturbing at the same time. Very interesting for everyone who likes music like this. This men just dont deliver the standards of good worldwide rocknroll, they have lived this life and still keep it. Sad that they just never get a real chance to stand outside from germany but i am sure a lot of people in this world would like their music even if they are wont understand the lyrics at first. From a musical stand you can take the recors from mid 90's till today. They was a big inspiration for a lot of german musicians, but just because of their historie no musician apart of a few ones, wont call them as an inspiration. And at this point I need to emphasize how the sound of these records was, at least for a german untypical band it seems impossible for a german band like them. (A little point: There was no truly fight but at this time there was a little war between a couple of german bands and "Böhse Onkelz" just because of their historie and image but even through this the other bands tried to imitate the style of the sound in a couple of songs, the sound sound that just "Böhse Onkelz" have had) The Records?!: Even early (I am not sure but I think it was with Virgi, maybe with Bellaphon Records) was the sound way farther, bigger and just more rock'n'roll than the very most of other productions above the german onces. Nearly once a year at least one fresh record every second year and with every single record you could here a difference, a step farther, a development. Sure there are good, bad and best records but they all are worth to hear just to check the progress inside. Check the historie of this guys and hear their music. Make them popular. I am sure...there wont be another band like them in the next years

if i may recommend a nother german band, a folk / black metal band finsterfrost, they have most of the time songs witch are very long, from 8 minutes to 30 minutes, but they take you on a musical journey, with growles cleans gregorian singing, outstanding guitarwork, and they even incooperate the accordion into all theire songs. so my recommendation would be the song "mach dich frei" from finsterfrost, just 7 minutes, so it is a good song to react to, with all the elements i allready mentioned :)
