ouch u hits me . he was the one doing everything behind for her.. not to forget he waited her for 60 thousands years , silently protect her till her awakening (boxuan & houchi) only to get this.. no reunion he has to push her away.. i know may be some ppl scold him he ask for it.. it just his way of protecting her.. it might not the best but he did the best he could.. he watched Shang Gu turn into ashes in front of him. the helplessness, pain n despair. he just dont want her to experience the same.. he pushed her away and silently die for her.. if not for the bracelets break, she will still not know abt the tribulation & his sacrifice
