Love your videos. I can't wait for the quarantine to end so we can see the applications in action :) On a side note, I'm glad to hear you mention that the motion can change size based on the situation/attack. This is commonly missed, and I've seen many students try to force an oftentimes exaggerated motion to work when there isn't enough time or space. Keep up the great teachings!

Strong connection through the spine and back. Loose shoulders. Folding, expanding, contracting tied to sticking and stepping. I always liked Pi Gua Shen Fa. Excellent sir.

Well, honestly my skills are meager,as I am a 62 year old trying to reclaim his body from prostate cancer treatment (all clear now) and more recently a rt shoulder replacement. 😉 My concern is mostly health at this point, but my instructor insures that the proper body mechanics, flavor and intention remain at the core of these awesome arts,so that hopefully they are passed on properly. Thank you for your videos and commentary!

@@azlaroc12 I see. Regardless, XingYi and Bagua have a significant track record in cancer-curing wonders. At the minimal, the arts can improve body and mind health. All the best to you!

Lots of fun to practice , looking forward to the next pigua steps in Baji 101.
Really nice, but if you can show us something like bone crushing front kick, round house kick, side kick, or direct punches with little movement.

Bagua and Pigua are two different systems. However they do have small similarities in terms of their “indirect” footwork and combat nature. But their core mechanics are very different .
