Sev
Ingredients:
1.Besan 2cups
2.Salt
3.Red Chilli powder 1tsp
4.Turmeric powder 1tsp
5.Cumin-coriander powder 1tsp
6.Asafoetida(hing) 2tsp
7.Black pepper powder 1tsp
8.Oil
9.Water 1/2 glass
Preparation:
1. Add besan in a big bowl.
2. Add all the masala and 2tsp oil to besan and mix them nicely.
3. Slowly add water and prepare a soft dough.
4. Select the medium sized holes jali of a sev maker and grease the whole machine nicely with oil.
5. Now add the dough inside the machine and close it properly.
6. Heat some oil In a pan to fry the sev.
7. Once the oil gets hot check it by adding a little dough.
8. The dough will immediately start floating or comes up from the bottom.
9. Now add 2-3 rounds of sev with the sev maker directly into the hot oil.
10. Allow the sev to fry well on 1 side for 3-4 seconds on high flame.
11. Then flip it to another side and fry it for 3-4 seconds.
12. As the sev gets fried well the bubbles gets less in the oil.
13. Similarly prepare all the sev.
14. Crunchy and crispy sev is ready.!
