The first time I ever heard this song, Kelly Clarkson sang it on the American Idol Christmas Special back in 2003. What a beautiful song! B.J. Thomas' version is great too. I've been a big fan of his since the 80's when I was a teenager. I love this song no matter who sings it. It has a powerful message that the world needs today, not just at Christmastime, but every day of the year.
