10:56 thanks for doing the distance comparison over 100 meter casting very impressive.imo exsence dc is capable of shooting with 1.5pe perhaps can reach 120 meter of course a bit more risky with thinner line.
Hi im also choosing between 99H or 106MH ( still undecided which one to buy) from other videos it seems the 106 has a stiffer backbone during casting and it seems to have a sensitive tip as well. But many anglers already using the 106 but at the same time this 99h also seems like a really good caster n good performer as well.

@@BillBajaj Should I not choose you with a target fish and a style of the fishing? As I want to use the plug, I am in trouble when an end of a rod is too hard. In addition, I am planning to say that I want length and choose long one as there are many opportunities to use it in a beach.

@@user-killerant yes I agree with you ! I also think the 106mh has a sensitive tip good for fishing also the length is good at 10ft 6in for beach fishing.

@@user-killerant Hi it would be nice if you could meet someone who has tried both the 99 n 106!to compare ! If you know someone who has both these rods or someone who has tried both it would be nice to make comparison. From what I see the 106 has a more longer backbone from butt to tip (website says 70%)also it seems to me it's more satisfying to cast the 106 as it's longer with stiff long backbone the 99 in is more powerful bends more during casting but it also delivers big distances.

@@yo-kotv Hi,one is for sure I'm very impressed with this rod thanks for making this video comparison ! It's really been very helpful !
Thank you for your review. I am interested in the 1954R. From the video I saw it is OK to cast light weight lures under 10gram, but it seems you commented the rod is too hard? Is it comfortable to cast 10~20gram? At the end of the video it seems you prefer the Fishman rod more and plan to sell the Shaula BG. Do you feel the Fishman rod is heavy? I look at the spec is about 300gram which I think would be tiring to use. I mainly use lures about 10gram~30gram, which a few about 50gram max. So I wonder if I should choose 1954R or 1952R. I already have a Morethan Branzion 96LB so I do not want another rod to be very similar. Thank you.
@@yo-kotv Thank you for your reply. I generally prefer softer (slower action) rod so from your review I think I would like the Fishman's action more. But the reels I intend to use are 21 Antares DC HG and 20 Conquest 200DC HG so I would like to match with it Shimano rod. lol (laugh) It is a tough choice. I will go to try the Fishman rods when my local tackle store has it. Furthermore, have you tried the Fishman Brist Vendaval 10.1M? I think it may also be suitable as my casting lures are not very heavy. As for the BG 1952R, do you feel if it is a seabass rod? Or a stronger rod? At 232gram it is much heavier than other seabass rod of 9'6" (my Morethan 96MLB is about 150gram) so I wonder whether the 1952R is a much stronger rod? Or the weight is from the full EVA grip handle? ps: the 1954R, at 240gram, is only 8gram heavier than the 1952R, so I guess they could be quite similar in power but Shimano rated them as 3PE max and 5PE max respectively.
